backpack Ho chi minh,
DAY 1
we arrived at than son naht airport aroun 12.30 pm vietnam clock.
soon we arrived, find bus 152/102 whic go to ben thanh bus station. i stayed at central saigon hostel at district 1, the district called backpackers streets.
then, we go around malaysian streets near ben thanh market, we had our lunch there at Hj basiroh restaurant, for me it was so expensive! i will not eat there again through out my trip. i also recommend you to not eat there because the price is absurd than the other restaurants. there were halal amin, way cheaper!
at night, we hangout at the nearby square in front of ben thanh market, vietnamese usually hangout there. at that time, we were approached by 3 vitnamese students. yeah, they kinda friendly. they want to practice their english. so we talk with them for about 1 hour. hahah but it was fun! tq guys!
DAY 2
mekong river tour. we wnt this trip for about 8 hours. it was worth it! make sure you wear your sunblocks lotion.
we met more friends from another country. first, we visit honey village, we got to taste the honey drinks and some fried banana coated with peanuts. Then, we went to taste tropical fruits accompanied by traditional music sang by vietnamese. later, we go to taste coconut candy and the process, there, coconut ice cream is a must!! it was so damn good! 10,000VND. then, we hopped into rowing boat at the river :) it was such a nice experience:)
DAY3
we just went to sightseeing. old and historical buildings. After that, we went shopping some fabrics at ben thanh market, if you want cheap vietnam silk only for RM50, go to shop no.323 and for japanese cotton rm25 go to shop no. 433 . At night, we went shopping at malaysian streets for souvenir, it was much cheaper than in ben thanh market, trust me:0
our last dinner we had with our dormmates from Portugal at halal amin!
